As a stunned Aditya listens, Vidya reveals that this was why she and her mother had been sent to the hospital earlier that day. Vidya goes on to sadly say that she had no way to make people understand that there was nothing wrong with her when all everybody wanted to know was when she would become a mother. Aditya adds that if they were weak, he would go talk to Vidya father himself as he was not. Vidya & her mother stop him and point out that Vidya's father would not take kindly to this. Aditya agrees to not do so provided Vidya's mother promised to speak up and not let this injustice happen to Vidya. She accepts Aditya's condition...albeit hesitantly! As Aditya leaves, Vidya's mother reassuringly touches Vidya's head and the two hug.
